Here exists a great opportunity, inside IR35, for an experienced rail P6 Planner. This is an exciting opportunity to join our client's Central Rail Systems Alliance. 

You have the possibilty to work out of multiple offices thorughout the North of England

Reporting to the Planning Manager, whilst supporting the Project Controls Manager, you will be responsible for the scheduling and integration all deliverables into the wider enhancement programme, in line with project controls procedures.

Duties will include - 

• Ensure the area progress is submitted in line with company policy
• Attend and plan review meetings with area project teams to facilitate early identification of risks / opportunities
• Maintain a robust and integrated schedule
• Ensure the KPI for the timely acceptance / non acceptance of vendor programmes is maintained
• Prepare project progress reports for the Programme Manager.

Requirements for this poisition -

• Prioe experience working within an alliance environment
• Experience of working within a highly regulated industry
• Rail industry experience
• Experience of project planning for projects of substantial in value
• Must have hands-on experience with resource loading and earned value management using Primavera P6 Professional.
