Venatu Recruitment are recruiting  for a Machine Operative for our client based in LS12. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality fabrics to their diverse clientele. They are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Operator to join their dynamic team.

Working hours are 6:30pm-6:30am Monday to Thursday ( Fixed Night Shift) 

Pay Rate: £11.44 p/h 

Job Description:

As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that the fabric manufacturing machines run efficiently and produce top-quality products. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will be vital in maintaining our client standards and meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor fabric manufacturing machines to ensure smooth production.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to prevent downtime.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities and machine performance.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or production issues to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing setting, preferably in the fabric or textile industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machinery.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Basic math skills for measuring and recording production data.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including possible shifts and overtime as needed.
