<u>The role</u>

As a Senior Family Solicitor at Fisher Jones Greenwood, you will play a crucial role in managing and growing our Family Law practice. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional with over 15  years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to handle complex cases, mentor junior solicitors, and contribute to the strategic development of the department.

The Family Solicitor will handle a range of work and responsibilities including.

  • Oversee a diverse caseload of family law matters including divorce, financial settlements, child custody, and domestic violence cases.
  • Provide expert legal advice and support to clients, ensuring high standards of client care and service.
  • Engage in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings to secure favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Mentor and supervise junior solicitors and support staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Contribute to the growth of the Family Law Department through networking, marketing initiatives, and managing client relationships.
  • Stay informed on the latest developments in family law and contribute to the firm's knowledge base.

To be successful in applying for such a role, you must be a team player who possess excellent client care skills, be technically strong with an eye for detail and have the ability to communicate effectively. You must also be reliable, organised, and able to work in a busy environment, as well as possessing excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
