Our Gloucester-based client is looking for a Customer Services Executive to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. Initially, a twelve-week temporary assignment during the peak business period currently, becoming permanent at the successful completion of the assignment. 

This is a varied role, within a niche but growing industry and within a fun, friendly team.

The Customer Service Executive will be required to:

  • Confidently manage all inbound enquiries via telephone and email, delivering excellent customer service at all times
  • Manage customer escalation, on occasion communicating with unhappy customers – for instance if there is a delay with their order
  • Update the CRM system accurately, with all details of any customer communication
  • Remain cool, calm and collected even when working under pressure
  • Assist delivery drivers with geographical knowledge to maximise the efficiency of their routes when planning collections and deliveries
  • Work as part of a multi-skilled team with strong communication

This is a full-time role, Monday-Friday with hours of 8:30am – 5:00pm, with a half hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks. After training is completed, there is a Saturday morning shift worked on a rota basis, from 8:00am – 12:00 noon, with the option of TOIL to go towards a significant Christmas shutdown, or paid overtime. The rate of pay is £24,000pa plus benefits.
