Days (8am - 4:50pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 12:15pm Friday )
Our client, a small engineering business based in Brighouse have an immediate requirement to recruit a well versed CNC Turner, who can set, operate and edit programs with FANUC based controls.
Duties
- Responsible for editing, setting and operating of CNC Turning machines.
- Have the ability to interpret and edit Fanuc based programs.
- Ability to producing finished components to quality requirements.
- To attend and complete any training courses if required.
- Experience of working with small batches and single components
- Can work to tight limits in a high precision environment.
- Workshop Housekeeping.
Requirements
- Should have a background in CNC Turning
- Previous experience of working with Fanuc (editing)
- Able to work to engineering drawings with minimum supervision.
- Able to complete tasks using own initiative.
- Willingness to comply with all HSQE requirements and procedural controls.
- Strong housekeeping and continuous improvement ethic.
- Strong team member and willing to assist wherever required.
- Skilled in manual handling
- Honest and reliable.
This is a permanent position where you will work 8am - 4:40pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 12:15pm on a Friday.
In return you can expect an hourly rate of £15 per hour (£28665).
