Our client, a major Highways company have an opening in their landscaping services which strives to improve the aesthetic and environmental quality of our roadsides.

Job Description

They are seeking a talented and experienced Highways Landscaper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and a commitment to creating and maintaining visually appealing and environmentally friendly roadside environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planting, pruning, and maintenance of trees, shrubs, and grass areas along highways.
• Operate and maintain landscaping tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Implement erosion control measures and soil stabilization techniques.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards.
• Assist in the design and installation of new landscape features.
• Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to complete projects on time and to high standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Landscaper, preferably with experience in highway or large-scale landscaping projects.
• Proficiency with landscaping tools and machinery.
• Knowledge of horticulture, soil types, and plant care.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Valid CSCS card and relevant certifications (e.g., chainsaw license, PA1/PA6 pesticide certificates) are highly desirable.
• Reliable transportation to various job sites in the Surrey area.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
