Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant

TimePlan Education are recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant to support a small group of children in KS3 with PMLD and behaviour needs. You will be working on a full-time basis with the opportunity of getting a permanent contract with the school after three terms. The school is a lovely SEN school in Ealing and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop in their role very quickly and they will receive continues training.

Job Responsibilities

• Comfortable supporting pupils with various Learning Difficulties.
• Ability to engage and support pupils in KS3.
• Assist with personal care if needed.
• Supervising pupils' behaviour.

Job Requirements

• Experience in supporting children or young adults with SEND is desirable but is not essential.
• Calm and empathetic.
• Good behaviour management.
• Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
• Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 2-6 months.
