Vehicle Bodyshop Controller job vacancy for a hands on motor mechanic that can manage the vehicle workshop day to day and work with the car repair bodyshop owner to improve the efficiency in the motor vehicle workshop.They mainly deal with cars and there can sometimes be light commercial.They have an order book of private customers as well as some local businesses that have a fleet of cars and unusual vehicles (so there is a nice bit of variety to the work flow).

Body Shop Controller

Main Duties

Hands on with vehicles in the bodyshop.

Manage the day to day work in the vehicle bodyshop.

Dealing with car parts and consumables ordering with suppliers.

Supervising mechanics and an administrator.

Looking after customers, usually on the technical issues.

Working with the vehicle bodyshop owner to improve efficiency and profitability and getting the business ready to hire more vehicle mechanics.
