The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Project Building Information Modelling BIM Coordinator to join the team in Birchwood.
Estimated Duration - 12 months.
This role has been deemed inside of IR35.

This is a 20-year arrangement to deliver ~£7bn of major projects. We are looking to recruit high value expertise from across regulated and comparable sectors to work in a collaborative environment, delivering major projects, site wide improvements and provision of supporting services.   

Your duties and responsibilities will be

• Provide a supporting role to upskill BIM knowledge to internal colleagues and external consultants / subcontractors as desired. 
• Developing and cross-checking model information against the Employer Information Requirements (EIR), including clash detection and validation of non-graphical information. 
• Development and maintenance of the Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) Strategy. 
• Assist Project Engineering Manager in ensuring CAE assurance/compliance with project and client requirements.
• Direct, monitor and participate in new developments and enhancements in support of Project and Client requirements.
• Helping the project utilise the data that it creates; maximising the use of dashboards to get information into the hands of the project.
• Develop and maintain information management performance targets (KPI’s, Metrics).

You will have the following qualifications and experience

• BIM & Computer Aided Design experience working in both 2D and 3D.
• Experience of relevant software such as Revit, Inventor, Aveva E3D and Navisworks. 
• Demonstrable experience of operating in a BIM Level 2 compliant environment. 
• A clear understanding of BIM and its benefits to the construction industry
• Experience gained in a large-scale mission critical environment, ideally in a nuclear environment within either a consultancy or end client. 
• Familiarity and experience of Civil, Structural and Architectural building requirements.
