System Test Engineer

We have an opportunity for a System Test Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in Basildon, Essex, where you will be responsible for assisting in the development and verification of the Connected Product range. You will be working with our global Engineering and Technology Centres and our New Product Introduction project teams, to ensure the reliability and robustness of Honeywell Connected Product Ranges.

This role is 100% on-site at our Basildon location.

Key Requirements:

  • Co-ordinate systems testing which supports the Connected Power System project in the UK.
  • Prepare test specifications, set up test suites and boost production sites.
  • Develop and run test programs to meet customer requirements.
  • Co-ordinate with global teams and present test results to stakeholders.
  • Investigate, study, and document test failures and recommend corrective actions.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in software/firmware and system integration testing.
  • Experience in setting up and using electrical test equipment on mains powered products.
  • Creating test methods for devices, software, and systems.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work in a cross functional team.
