Profile -  - Mechanical Design Engineer

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing and evolving business in Cheltenham.

You will be responsible for conceptualising new product and systems as well as modifying and detailing existing systems for a rang of high profile clients.

Ideally you'll have some exposure and experience in machinery or automated system design, however other experiences will also be considered.

Duties - Mechanical Design Engineer

• Design and development of new and existing components/products.
• Conceptual Design as well as product modifications.
• Creation of both 3D models and 2D drawing.
• Develop site layout plans for installation phase.
• Creation of BOM to enable manufacture.
• Overseeing and contributing to projects from a management perspective.
• Dependant on project complexity, taking ownership of full projects.

Background - Mechanical Design Engineer

• Special purpose machinery design (Preferable)
• Experience with either Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks.
• Preferably HNC minimum in engineering discipline.
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Full Driving licence
