Application Security Engineer
Location: Dublin (Hybrid, 3 days per week on-site)
Salary: Up to €95k p/a plus benefits
We are seeking to hire an experienced Application Security Engineer on behalf of our Dublin-based client. You will hold the responsibilities of assessing and mitigating security risks, working with internal development teams to enhance application security posture and conducting security code reviews.
Duties:
- Conducting security assessments of applications to identify vulnerabilities and security risks
- Performing manual code reviews and dynamic application testing
- Identifying vulnerabilities and developing & implementing vulnerability management processes
- Helping to design and implement software architectures
- Security code reviews
- Work with incident response teams to investigate and analyse security incidents
Requirements:
- Strong experience with application security principles, vulnerabilities and secure coding practices
- Ability to perform security code reviews and manual penetration testing
- Experience with application security assessment tools
- Understanding of cloud security concepts of technologies (AWS or Azure)
- Familiarity with programming languages
