The Role …

As a Project Architect, you'll lead the design and execution of high-end projects from concept to construction. Responsibilities include client presentations, project management, team leadership, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of architectural packages from concept to construction, ensuring adherence to design briefs and quality standards.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients.
  • Manage project deliverables and timelines, overseeing multiple design schedules simultaneously.
  • Mentor and manage a small project team, providing guidance and support for project delivery.
  • Oversee all design and technical aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and client requirements.
  • Conduct site visits and liaise with construction teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with associate directors and the managing director on conceptual designs, presentations, and design development.

Ideal Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in high-end residential design, listed buildings, and basement construction.
  • Relevant qualifications ARB / RIBA.
  • 5+ years post qualification experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp. Revit is beneficial but not essential.

  • Experience across RIBA stages, ability to lead on projects.
  • Interior package production experience.
  • Comfortable managing a small team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Confidence in a client facing position.
