We are actively seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Actions / QI RECON Specialist to join our client in Switzerland (Job Ref: CAQIRSBS24, Location: Basel). This onsite and permanent role within the banking sector is pivotal in managing and executing diverse corporate actions events for client accounts. Your responsibilities will also involve providing essential support to Relationship Managers, addressing queries, and managing lifecycle events effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze Corporate Action information sourced from SWIFT messages, prospectuses, and financial providers.
• Assist Relationship Managers with inquiries regarding Corporate Actions and manage their lifecycle.
• Prepare notification letters for Relationship Managers and clients, and coordinate instructions with custodians when necessary.
• Contribute to the enhancement of Corporate Action tools to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
• Process voluntary and mandatory Corporate Actions events in client accounts for cash and securities, ensuring precision and compliance.
• Monitor and oversee Corporate Actions bookings to mitigate risks and uphold operational standards.
• Participate in the QI RECON process to ensure adherence to Qualified Intermediary (QI) reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a university degree in a financial market-related discipline or a related field.
• Possess at least 3 years of hands-on experience in financial markets or operations, focusing on Corporate Actions.
• Excellent command of English is required; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
• Familiarity with QI RECON processes is beneficial.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential; knowledge of Avaloq and Fitax is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex Corporate Action scenarios effectively.
• Demonstrated responsibility and commitment to ensuring accurate execution of Corporate Actions.
