We are proud to be working with a thriving and nurturing school in St Albans. The school is in the Hertfordshire area and is currently looking for a Qualified Science teacher.

THE ROLE

  • You will be responsible for lesson planning and classroom management.
  • Educating and keeping young minds stimulated throughout the day
  • Can proactively keep lessons engaging and memorable
  • Adjust teaching styles for any pupils that learn in different ways and speeds.
  • Ability to create a fun lab environment keeping young minds engaged
  • Peak the curiosity of the students by way of practical science experiments that fall in line with the curriculum

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

ü  Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification / Relevant Subject Experience

ü  Bring prior experience as a Science Teacher or within a school setting

ü  Possess a great sense of humour, along with the ability to connect and communicate effectively with both young people and colleagues.

ü  Demonstrate enthusiasm and maintain a consistently positive attitude.

ü  Exhibit a genuine passion for working with children.

ü  Embrace teamwork and demonstrate strong communication skills.

ü  Approach teaching and learning with excitement and creativity.

ü  Skilfully scaffold children's learning based on their individual interests.

ü  Develop and deliver inclusive lessons tailored to accommodate diverse needs and abilities.

ü  Maintain a calm and patient approach, complemented by excellent behaviour management skills.
