Project Manager - Construction

We are currently searching for a Project Manager who operates in the low/mid-rise new build residential market. This role is working with a Main Contractor who specialises in schemes between £10m - £40m for both Housing Associations and Local Councils.

As Project Manager you will be responsible for delivering these schemes as Project Lead, with support from the Construction Director. The first project you would be involved with is a £15m 45 unit scheme which is currently at enabling stage.

Role:

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the project.
• Identify and allocate necessary resources including manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Create detailed project schedules and timelines.
• Act as the primary point of contact between clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are being met.
• Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Required:

• Proven experience delivering new build residential projects from inception to completion. 
• Strong leadership skills to manage teams and drive project success.
• Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
• Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Proficiency in budget management and financial planning.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS
