Review and communicate with initial customer enquiries regards work proposals that are on or adjacent to network rail property. Gather and record information about work scope and methods of working.


Communicate and work with team colleagues including; engineers, project managers, planners and portfolio manager.

Responsibilities include maintaining communications with the customer and act as lead contact for the works. Carry out reviews of risk and method statements either singularly or with the engineer. Act as interface with the customer for booking and arranging protection of the rail arrangements including possessions and line blocks and Network Rail site attendance.

Undertake safety reviews and monitor works as they progress. Liaise with Network Rail site supervisors to ensure briefing of method statements and site information.

This role will require PTS and COSS.

The work split is a follows - 40% admin and 60% on site.

The role does require the ability to drive to the vary sites on the network for initial fact-finding reviews and for ongoing management visits.
