An exciting opportunity has opened for a Toolroom Operator .
The expectation of a  Toolroom Operator will be to ensure die and tool are right 1st time and to maximise hourly and daily production output targets.

Toolroom Operator duties include:
" Ensure Toolroom production output is respecting all quality & technical requirements.
" Inspect dies & tools with precision measuring tools.
" Conduct daily start-up & closure checklists to ensure all safety & 5S requirements are in place.
" Carry out post-manufacturing inspection to ensure correct machining for next planned production.
" Execute corrective actions of grinding, smoothing, cutting & any other fabrication to ensure production readiness before returning to die storage.
" Control & monitor machine settings to ensure maximum output according to standard requirements.
" Support & carry-out the tool changeover process (as required) & ensure all standards are respected according to the quality & efficiency target.


Required skills:
" Demonstrated machining / CNC skills .
" Ability to read drawings & technical documentation
" Fork lift truck & crane operating licence

Normal hours of work:
Alternating shift of:

06.00 to 14.00 Mon - Thurs
06.00 to 11.00 Friday
With a 15 minute paid break Mon-Thurs, a total of 37 hours per week.

13.45 to 21.45 Mon - Thurs
10.45 to 15.45 Friday
With a 15 minute paid break Mon-Thurs, a total of 37 hours per week.
