Job Description:
Are you looking for a hands-on role in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We are currently hiring PPT Driver's to join our team in Wellingborough.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Responsible for ensuring the productivity and efficiency targets are achieved
- Assist in the movement and management of materials within the facility.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes.
- Ensuring that site Health and Safety regulations, policies and procedures are followed
- Ensuring that all site rules and regulations are complied with
- To be accountable and responsible for their own and others health and safety
- Report any accidents or near miss incidents to your supervisors.
- Report any injury to oneself, even if this does not prevent work being undertaken.
- Suggest safer methods of work by informing your supervisor.
- Work with other employees and especially new starters & younger employees, to warn of known hazards or specific activities that should only be conducted by experienced trained staff.
- Wear PPE as instructed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting.
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing setting is a plus, but not required, as full training will be provided.
