THH Recruitment are hiring on behalf of a reputable local company. This leading UK manufacturer of dust and fume extraction equipment is seeking x2 Technical Sales Engineers to drive sales growth within the OEM/reseller business sectors.

Responsibilities include supporting existing customers, generating leads, delivering customer presentations and product demonstrations, and negotiating contracts with potential clients. To be successful in this role, previous experience in the dust extraction industry is advantageous, along with an understanding of the sales process, strong interpersonal skills, and prior experience in a sales role.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support existing customers
  • Generate new leads
  • Deliver customer presentations and product demonstrations
  • Negotiate contracts with potential clients
  • Meet or exceed sales goals
  • Assist in determining pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations
  • Prepare monthly reports
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs
  • Promote company programs
  • Obtain deposits and balance payments from clients
  • Prepare and submit sales quotations for orders
  • Visit clients and potential clients to assess needs or promote products and services
  • Maintain client records

Candidate Requirements:

  • Full driving licence
  • Previous sales experience
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics
  • Dust/Extraction Experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Superb interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with customers and suppliers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
