£80,000 - £85,000/annum

We are a fast-growing Advanced Level AWS Consulting Partner in the rapidly changing cloud and technology services sector.

This role can be fully remote based in the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead on customer scoping and design calls to gather requirements, build a project scope and time to deliver an estimate for the project
  • Formulate a customer's problem into an architectural solution which will deliver value to the customer
  • Building positive customer relationships
  • Working closely with the project team to deliver the project to a high standard, to the project scope within the project time and budget constraints
  • Act as the senior point of escalation for technical outages/issues.
  • Involvement in maintaining our high level standard of our NPS Score, AWS relationship and driving business growth with the delivery of Service Delivery Programs
  • Attendance at client meetings and company events
  • Participation in a 24/7 on-call escalation rota

Experience (Essential)

  • Two or more years’ experience designing and building solutions in AWS
  • Two or more years’ experience with gathering project scope, requirements and designs either virtual or face-to-face with customers
  • Experience in quoting the time to delivery based on multiple skill sets within the team
  • AWS Solution Architecture Certification at professional level
  • Experience in writing Statements of Work with precise and detailed information, including high-level architectural designs
  • Four or more years’ experience with core AWS Services including Load Balancing, EC2, RDS, CloudFront, S3 and CloudWatch
  • Experience with migrating customers from on-premise environments to the cloud

Experience (Nice to have)

  • AWS speciality certification
  • Experience with machine learning services such as Sagemarker, Rekognition etc
  • Knowledge of typical on-premise environments such as hypervisor, storage and backup vendors
  • Leadership skills
  • Ability to write scripts to automate solutions (preferably in Python)
