Duration: Initial 6-Months + Possible Extension
Rates: £650 - £700 Daily Rate Inside IR35 via Umbrella
Clearance: BPSS


Carbon60 is interested in speaking with experienced Offshore Cable Engineers / Lead Cable Engineers to join our client on a 6-month contract supporting their Offshore Wind Portfolio in the UK.



Responsibilities:

  • Technical input in support of Offshore Export cable selection and refinement
  • Co-ordination of cable route survey scopes and assessment of cable burial risk / opportunities across proposed routes
  • Development of Inter-Array cable layouts and optimisation
  • Provide definition of cable installation methodologies in support of project consenting inputs
  • Assessment of cable rating constraints along both onshore and offshore Export Cable corridors
  • Development of execution strategy for both Export and Inter-Array cables and development of project programme
  • Support in engagement with supply chain, ensuring project strategy aligns with market expectations

My client is looking for candidates with experience of FEED stage into design, ideally in HVDC.


Candidate will be electrically design biased rather than installation manger experience
