We are seeking a skilled and dedicated electrician with a domestic background based local to the South Shields area. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of domestic electrical repairs, testing, and installations within the local community. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform domestic electrical repairs, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Conduct electrical testing and inspections in residential properties.
• Install electrical systems and components, including wiring, lighting, and appliances.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken, including materials used and time spent on tasks.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively with residents and addressing their concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

• Qualified Electrician with a recognized electrical certification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent).
• Valid CSCS card.
• Proven experience in domestic electrical repairs, testing, and installations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence.
