We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Supported Living Registered Manager to oversee our supported living environment in Gravesend, DA12. The successful candidate will lead a team providing high-quality care and support to residents with learning difficulties, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and supportive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the supported living environment.
Ensure the delivery of person-centered care and support for residents with learning difficulties.
Develop and implement individualized care plans.
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of support workers.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment for both staff and residents.
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
Handle administrative duties, including staff scheduling, record-keeping, and reporting.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a similar setting.
Strong understanding of the needs of individuals with learning difficulties.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and standards.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant qualifications in social care or a related field (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care).
Ability to handle challenging situations with patience and empathy.
Working Hours:
Full-time position - 8am - 8pm or 8pm - 8am
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
