We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and outstanding plastering workshop technician and tutor demonstrator who can make a real contribution to ensuring our learners have a great experience. This would be an ideal post for someone who may be looking into getting into teaching as a first step. 

What we are looking for:

  • Experience and knowledge of the plastering industry. Qualified to a minimum of Level 2, ideally Level 3
  • Organisational skills and health and safety awareness
  • Passion for high standards, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven record of providing outstanding support and service

Duties/responsibilities:

  • Handling and movement of materials, as well as maintaining tidy workshop spaces.  You will work across a number of plastering workshops.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in plastering workshops and associated storage areas and get materials ready for practical classes.
  • Order and keep stock control and inventory records including risk assessments, COSHH data
  • Assist with in class practical demonstrations and/or take lower-level practical classes
