My client is a small planning and architectural practice that works predominantly in the residential sector. They have been established for over 20 years and have built up a solid client base, which ranges from developers to individual builders and housing associations.

Job Description

You will be part of a small integrated team that works as a single unit, with inputs from all of the team to get projects completed.

Typically a project will involve taking a site from inception, through the initial scoping and pre-app stages, submission and negotiation of planning consents and then the detailed design of the development to enable construction on site. Workloads vary for each employee so adaptability is a key requirement.

Essential skills

• AutoCAD proficient (SketchUp and Photoshop is beneficial)
• HNC in Construction or Degree in Architectural Technology
• Experience in the residential sector beneficial
• Good communication skills
