GSL Education is looking for enthusiastic Sports Coachto work in school settings in Wakefield.
Job Summary:
- Coach is responsible for teaching the fundamental skills and techniques required for the sport.
- Coach helps students understand strategies, game plans, and the nuances of the sport.
- Coach implements fitness programs to improve students' overall physical health and sport-specific conditioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging sports lessons and activities
- Encourage and motivate students to participate and excel in physical education
- Organize and oversee school sports events and competitions
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students
- Collaborate with other staff members to promote a holistic approach to education
Requirements:
- Relevant coaching qualifications or experience
- Passion for sports and working with children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
- Commitment to the well-being and development of all students
Please note: This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful candidates must satisfy all background checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
