**Nursery Practitioner – Qualified level 2 or Level 3**
**Salary 28-30k**
**Location: Tonbridge, Kent**
**Full-time shifts (7:30am – 5:30pm, 8am-6pm) Monday to Friday**

Our client based in Tonbridge is a well-established nursery and forest school that welcomes children from 0 – 5 years with an excellent reputation. They take a holistic approach to childcare, allowing children freedom to play and learn independently, with an emphasis on outdoor learning. also operates a forest school for the children so an understanding and appreciation of this concept would be desirable.

Responsibilities:
Day-to-day nursery activities which ensure that high standards of care and education are maintained.
Establishing appropriate planning, observation and assessment procedures in partnership with management and other staff to ensure children’s progress is monitored and aligned with the EYFS.
Effectively using our recording system (Tapestry) for each individual child, to enable effective storage and retrieval of information and sharing of progress with parents, other professionals and agencies whilst being aware of the confidentiality of the information contained therein.

Required:
-    NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent/higher qualification in childcare or related subject
-    Reliability
-    Enhanced DBS check
-    Good numeracy and literacy skills
-    Organisation skills
-    First aid certificate preferred 
-    Excellent communication skills
-    Knowledge of policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety, security, equal opportunities and 
        confidentiality
-    Demonstrable knowledge of the EYFS.
