Blackpool / Lytham St Annes (hybrid working)
£45,000 to £50,000 + 25 days annual leave, rising to 30 plus bank holidays + hybrid working + flexitime + additional birthday holiday + private healthcare + private pension + other great benefits!

Excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst with experience within the Utilities sector to join an established, successful, growing company in a highly varied and interesting role where they put a large emphasis on the welfare of their employees.

This company are a leader within the energy & utilities sector. They want to give people more than a job, they want to offer a purpose and a career where you can develop, upskill, train and progress. Through growth, they are looking to add a Business Analyst to their busy team.

In this role you will be responsible analysing the business domain, documenting processes and systems, outlining business requirements and matching a software business model with the software being built. This is a hybrid working role, where you will need to be on site on Tuesdays and Thursdays and can work from home 3 days a week.

The ideal candidate will be a Business Analyst with proven commercial experience. Any background within Utilities is highly beneficial. A strong background with Data modelling, Gap analysts, Process mapping and creating technical specifications will be required.

The role:
*Hybrid working, Tuesdays and Thursdays on site, 3 days a week working from home
*Create documentation that will communicate results from analysis and create recommendations to key stakeholders across the company
*Plan and lead workshops to elicit, document and analyse requirements
*Create cost benefit analysis
*Conduct data analysis and build data models
*Create test documentation and conduct test execution software

The person:
*Business Analyst with proven experience in a commercial environment
*Experience working within Utilities or the Energy sector beneficial
*Experience creating technical specifications, Gap analysis, Data modelling, process mapping, Root cause analysis all beneficial
*Experience working in an agile development environment, or experience of the Software Development Life Cycle beneficial
