An excellent opportunity has arisen for a EHCP Coordinator within a Local Authority to assist the Education Department for an initial period of 3 months. You will be required to complete all statutory assessment processes and all EHC case work.
 
This a fantastic opportunity for a EHCP Coordinator to come into a busy team and use their attributes and skills to complete the work required.
 
Essential Skills & Abilities 

  • Knowledge and understanding of the legislation relating to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Education system from 0 – 25 years.
  • Knowledge and understanding of recent developments in the field of SEN and Disabilities, and the education landscape and context.
  • Practical experience in a relevant field to include working with parents, families and education providers
 
Job Role

  • To support children and young people and their parents and carers and schools involved in the statutory assessment process.
  • Processing Annual Reviews
  • You have an associated caseload that you will take ownership of throughout the contract.
  • To ensure equality of opportunity for all children and to maintain good communication links with parents, other services and agencies.
  • Writing, drafting and amending EHCP’s
