Job Title: Saw Operator

Location: Belfast BT3

Salary: £26,000

Working Hours: 8am to 5pm (40hours)

Job Type: Full time/Permanent

Main duties and responsibilities of Saw Operator:

  •  Operates metal saw to cut material to customer requirements by performing the following duties. Adherence to health and safety at all times.
  •  Program and operate saws accurately for cutting operations.
  •  As a Saw Operator, materials should be cut within customer required tolerances using measuring instruments (tape, micrometre, caliper).
  •  Operates fork trucks and jib cranes when required, FLT Licence required
  •  Ensure all cut material is placed on fit-for-purpose pallets or skids for safe packaging.
  •  Perform manual lifting to 20kg.
  •  Wear all required PPE without exception.

Key requirements of Saw Operator:

  • Experience operating machinery and metal processing.
  • Saw Operator should be excellent in analytical and organizational skills.
  • Able to communicate with individuals at all levels.
  • Good team working skills.
  • Time management.
