Job Title: Warehouse Operator
Location: Birmingham, B76
Hourly Rate: £11.44ph
Working Hours: 7.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (40 hours)
Key Duties:
- Warehouse operator should safely sort and move stock as part of a team or individually
- Follow safety standards and Health and Safety Policies
- Pick and pack material according to customer requirements and report quality issues promptly
- Maintain accurate output as per sales orders to ensure customer satisfaction
- Operate machinery proficiently and report safety issues or defects immediately
- Maintain KPIs and assist with 5S and general housekeeping for a clean and safe environment
- Assist with stock takes, conduct necessary testing (hardness, conductivity, XFR), and complete paperwork accurately
Requirements:
- GCSE qualifications
- Warehouse Operator must have a Counterbalance or Reach Forklift licence
- Previous warehouse experience
- Good analytical and organisational skills
- Willing to travel to other sites, including overseas
