Mechanical Assembler
£13.00 per hour, temporary role, BS16 9QH, 28 days holiday, free parking, Monday to Thursday 7.30 am-4pm, Friday 7.30 -1.30pm 37.5 hour week.
Opportunity to join an innovative and friendly engineering company on the outskirts of Bristol as a mechanical assembler, mechanical fitter, hydraulic fitter, working on the companies' products in a workshop environment reporting to the production manager.

The mechanical assembler, mechanical fitter, hydraulic fitter, involves

• Mechanical assembly of equipment in a workshop environment utilising a range of hand & power tools.
• Workshop bench fitting environment.
• Assembling a range of hydraulic servo valves, bearing and diameter matching. 
• Disassembling of units and components for investigation and rework.
• Interpret basic drawings and updating a parts system.

The mechanical assembler, mechanical fitter, hydraulic fitter, experience & skills

• A work history or track record in mechanical assembly or fitting or similar environments.
• Mechanical production related qualifications with related skills or time served experience are of interest.
• Any hydraulics training would be desirable but not essential.
