Curriculum Leader of Criminology & Sociology
Contract: Full-time, Long Term
Location: Slough
Start Date: September 2024
Pay Rate: £120- £220 per day

GSL Education is in search of a dynamic Curriculum Leader: Criminology & Sociology for a full-time, long term position in Slough starting in September 2024 . This is an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of learners and contribute to their understanding of Criminology & Sociology.

• Ensure high student attainment and achievement within the curriculum area.
• Provide effective leadership, support, and professional development for staff within the curriculum area.
• Ensure curriculum coverage, continuity, and progression for all learners, including high-ability students and those with additional needs.
• Maintain high standards of attendance, punctuality, appearance, conduct, and positive relations with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Identify and meet the training needs of teachers within the subject area and support the development of NQTs/ITTs and new staff.

• Hold QTS or PGCE qualifications
• Qualified and experienced in teaching criminology and sociology, with a strong understanding of teaching and learning objectives.
• Experience in developing and implementing schemes of work and assessments.
• Skilled in using baseline data and assessment records to evaluate teaching quality and student achievement.
