Field Service Engineer
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 + company car + training
Location: Kent
nGenium is currently partnered with a multinational leader in medical devices looking to grow their engineering team with an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to contribute to the service, repair, preventative maintenance, and testing of a range of decontamination equipment for hospitals and laboratories.
In this Field Service Engineer position you can expect:
- Provide prompt, high quality and professional engineering support of medical equipment. Including Acceptance Testing, Repairs and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
- Provide first line assistance, advice and assessment of client technical queries by telephone when required.
- Assist with installation and commissioning of equipment in support of the Technical Team on projects when required.
- Continuous learning and development as well as high quality OEM training on an impressive range of devices.
- Installing new equipment at various sites and providing operator training.
A suitable Field Service Engineer would need:
- A minimum of HNC/ONC or degree in electronics, mechanical or Biomedical Engineering
- 2+ years’ experience in a field service engineer position within decontamination.
- Experience servicing and maintaining sterilisers and washer disinfectors.
- Training to NHS guidance - STM/HTM/WTM etc …
- Full UK driving License and right to work.
