Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor

My client a leading Tier 1 Contractor are looking to expand their team with a Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor to cover the Southcoast. A fantastic opportunity for someone looking to expand their skill-set and knowledge amongst an incredibly supportive team.

About the role of Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor

Specialising in new-build residential and commercial projects across the South coast ranging from £10M - £700M. With the opportunity to see projects through from conception to completion and be part of pre-construction meetings.

Responsibilities for Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor

• Providing support, insight, and solutions to site team as and when necessary
• Support more junior members within the team with their development and skill-set.
• Reporting directly into the Operations Director.
• Conduct Site visits across the region, ensuring business SHE standards are being obtained and maintained on a weekly basis

Requirements for Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor

• Exceptional people skills ad ability to talk to all levels within the business, including presenting to board when necessary.
• Ability to communicate both written and verbally.
• Previous experience within the construction industry and previous site experience
• Qualified with NEBOSH/ CMIOSH or equivalent.
• A collaborator attitude is essential.
