Cogent Staffing are recruiting on behalf of our client, a manufacturing company based in Huddersfield, HD5 who are looking for skilled Electrical Mechanical Engineers to join the growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected and established business on a permanent basis.

Shifts & salary:

• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 - 14:00, and 14:00 - 22:00 rotating weekly, with flexibility
• Starting at £35,000

Key responsibilities:

• To maintain electrical systems and premises.
• Installation of new electrical systems.
• Recommend changes and upgrades to current systems / processes.
• Set up and maintain planned maintenance schedules.
• To take part in improvement activities & training as required.
• To behave in a manner that is safe and that promotes good manufacturing practice.
• Ability to manufacture/fabricate machine parts as required.
• To understand all safety and quality rules.
• Liaising with visitors as necessary.

Key requirements:

• 18th edition certificate necessary.
• Any relevant engineering & electrical qualifications preferred.
• Must have experience maintaining electrical equipment and premises.
• Must have experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, PLC's and trouble shooting.
• Ideally has experience with power press and metal forming machinery.
• Ideally has welding experience.
• Ideally has abrasive wheel training.
