Our client, a leading company in the water infrastructure / tunnelling sector, is currently seeking a Site Agent to join their team. This is a contract role based in Market Drayton, offering 6 - 12 months' worth of work, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a team of workers on-site.
• Ensure that projects are completed to schedule and within budget.
• Maintain high health and safety standards.
• Monitor progress, quality, and productivity of the team.
• Coordinate with other teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Provide guidance and support to team members.
• Report any issues or concerns to the Delivery / Framework Manager.

Project Details:

• The project duration is 6 months + on a freelance basis.
• Start Date ASAP

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience as a Site Agent / Site Manager
• Strong understanding of infrastructure projects - specifically water pipelines or tunnelling.
• Ability to run all work site and ensure deadlines are met.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Report any issues direct to the Project Manager
• SMSTS ticket is essential.

Experience:

Experience of working on a civils infrastructure site. With knowledge of deep excavation and/or shaft sinking / trenchless pipe installation methods would be advantageous but by no means essential.

Contract Details:

This is a contract position offering competitive rates of £330.00 - £350.00 per shift CIS.
