As a Functional Assessor, you will be at the forefront of understanding and evaluating the challenges faced by claimants. Through detailed assessments and examinations conducted via telephone, video calls, or face-to-face meetings, you will determine how disabilities, conditions, or illnesses impact daily activities. Your approach will be respectful, unbiased, and reassuring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and gather critical information.
  • Interpret clinical data to produce accurate and concise reports.
  • Maintain high standards of professional communication and adhere to ethical codes of conduct.
  • Ensure positive experiences for claimants and colleagues while meeting quality and productivity targets.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a qualified healthcare professional.
  • Qualified as - Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD), Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist
  • Broad clinical knowledge and the ability to analyse complex information.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office.
