Our client who designs and manufactures production line equipment for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries are keen to recruit a Project Manager to manage all aspects of a variety of projects from large production lines to small tabletop units. The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects in a technical environment ideally with extended project life cycles. Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry would be ideal.

Duties:

• Manage all aspects and types of projects through the business
• Meet overall project objectives for quality, delivery and cost
• Manage & resolve key project risks & issues
• Maintain a clear understanding of the current scope of work throughout the project and
• manage the commercial impact of any changes

• Work with internal departments to ensure projects run smoothly and that technical information is passed on correctly

• Liaise with customers and suppliers on technical issues
• Travel to customer sites worldwide on occasion.

Requirements:

• Must have an understanding of project engineering
• Experience of managing projects in a technical environment
• Experience of extended project life cycles
• Experience gained within the pharmaceutical industry or production machinery manufacturing industry would be beneficial
• An understanding of good manufacturing practice and validation principles would be an advantage
• Must have a systematic approach to work and be excellent at relationship building
• Product training will be given on specialist machinery and equipment
• Must be willing to undertake overseas travel on occasion
