We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join a new café in Stoke-on-Trent. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, maintaining high culinary standards, and ensuring a delightful dining experience for the customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in line with café standards.
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet our high standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the café team to develop and plan menus
- Train new starters
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a café or similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work Thursday to Sunday.
- Must undergo an enhanced DBS check.
Working Days: Thursday to Sunday
37.5 hours per week.
Pay: £25,000.00 per year
