About the role:

Connex Education is thrilled to be working with Primary schools in the Edgbaston area, with an element of SEN. This role requires a knowledgeable, passionate, and encouraging Teacher who is willing to create meaningful interactions with both staff and students. This role requires someone who is confident to teach across all ages as you will be covering a wide range of classes. You will need to deliver well-structured and engaging lessons during PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time. We are also happy to welcome ECT teachers who will be QTS in September 2024.  You will need to be flexible, adaptive and display a genuine passion for your responsibilities in educating pupils. As you will be working with a mixture of mainstream and SEN students you will need to be patient, nurturing and firm in your approach. Whilst sparking inspiration and engagement. And to remember that any two days will never be the same!

Role Requirements**

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Confidently deliver engaging PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time.
• Previous Experience working in a Primary School setting.
• DBS On the update service, or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education
• Strong classroom management skills
• A clear passion for working with children and fostering their educational growth.
• Commitment to the profession of working in Education.
• Past 2 years’ worth of referencing.
