Think Office Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a family owned construction company. My client is forward thinking and passionate about upholding a positive culture and strong values,  

Due to continued growth my client is looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to work 4 days per week office based.

Responsibilities

  • This role requires a proactive individual who will oversee the running of all finance operations and ensure that decisions are made with precision and efficiency whilst also taking personal responsibility for daily and weekly duties including-

  • Bank reconciliation's.
  • Setting up weekly payroll
  • Liaising with external accountants
  • Processing and monitoring Inter Company transactions.
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Prepare payment runs.
  • Sales ledger checks
  • Credit control.
  • Preparing and checking CIS returns
  • Checking VAT returns
  • The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of the construction industry, and a keen understanding of CIS.

The ideal candidate

A strong focus and background in finance and a good understanding of technical accounting

Ability to think strategically

Proactive with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external.
