Our client, the world’s largest automotive services and technology provider is currently looking to hire a Battery Process Engineer. The successful candidate will improve efficiency, quality, and safety across all stages of the remanufacturing workflow, from disassembly to testing and reassembly.
 
The Battery Process Engineer will:
  • Lead efforts to optimize remanufacturing processes, including disassembly, inspection, testing, repair, and reassembly, to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Collect and analyse data on process performance, quality metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain accurate documentation of process parameters, standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and other relevant documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the implementation of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other process optimization techniques.
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for remanufacturing technicians and operators.
 
The Battery Process Engineer will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related Engineering field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in a remanufacturing or manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong technical expertise in battery technology, including knowledge of battery chemistries, materials, and manufacturing processes.
