The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in understanding low-level designs, creating and implementing build scripts, and conducting testing and validation for an on-premises VMware infrastructure. The role involves utilizing infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell DSC to automate the infrastructure. You will collaborate with architects and clients to outline best practices for delivering Windows and Red Hat Linux virtual machines as code, with potential scope to include other virtual infrastructure and network devices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and interpret low-level designs.
- Create and implement build scripts.
- Conduct testing and validation for VMware infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell DSC.
- Collaborate with architects and clients to outline best practices for virtual machine delivery.
- Potentially expand scope to include other virtual infrastructures and network devices.
- Proficiency in writing, deploying, and troubleshooting Terraform configuration files.
- Proficiency in writing, deploying, and troubleshooting Ansible Playbooks/YAML files.
- Proficiency in writing, deploying, and troubleshooting PowerShell DSC MOFs and PowerShell scripts.
- Strong understanding of integration with the VMware platform.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
