Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant with auditing experience to join our clients team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing accounting, auditing, and financial advisory services to our clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and contributing to the overall success of our firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for clients across various industries.
  • Conduct audits of financial statements and internal controls in accordance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate clients’ financial systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide financial advisory services to clients, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Assist clients with tax planning and compliance, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, auditing procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and provide accurate and timely advice to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and resource for all their accounting and financial needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other professionals within the firm to deliver comprehensive accounting and advisory services to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA, ACA, ACCA, or similar professional certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and auditing roles, preferably in a public accounting firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite; experience with auditing/accounting software (SAGE) and tools preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify issues, and propose effective solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely to clients and colleagues.
  • Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in all aspects of work.

Salary and Benefits:
