An exciting opportunity for an experience Project  Coordinator has arisen with our long-established manufacturing client based in Sittingbourne. Our client has been established for over fifty years and its operating in both UK and Europe. They have grown from strength to strength and due to business demands are now recruiting for an experienced customer services coordinator with some export experience

Hours: 37.5 Hrs..... per week

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator has arisen with our long-established manufacturing client based in Sittingbourne. Our client has been established for over fifty years and is operating in both UK and Europe. They have grown from strength to strength and due to business demands are now recruiting for an experienced Project Co-ordinator to join their busy team.  Preference will be given to candidates from a freight forwarding background.

Job Purpose:

To liaise with clients and the customer services depth regarding the progress of customer orders through the system and to provide administration support to the account manager and project managers where necessary. The role would suit someone from a customer services / administration background with some freight/exports experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience dealing with export invoices.

The Role:

  • To monitor progress of orders, identifying issues, changes developments and potential problems.
  • To be the daily interface with the client on all order issues, dealing with enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Preparing export invoices for freight within the UK
  • To process sales quotes, sales orders, and purchase orders through the system.
  • To organise customer deliveries, including quoting, raising purchase orders, and the administration of all deliveries
  • To enter accurate information onto the company databases including Excel
  • General Customer Services and administration duties
  • Experience with export invoices is required
  • Working with the warehouse daily regarding customer orders
  • Managing customer orders which arrive from their French office

Suitable Candidate:

  • This role requires someone with min of 2 years Export Coordinator experience and preference will be given to candidate with freight forwarding experience
  • 1 year experience dealing with export invoices is desirable
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word and Excel
  • The suitable candidate will require strong communication skills
  • Due to the location of our client, you will need to drive and have access to your own car.
