Your Role: 

An exciting opportunity has become available to join the team in Haverhill as a Manufacturing Operative. Reporting into the Evening Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for the Synthesis and Purification of Custom DNA. You will be fully trained on all duties of the role which include using our in-house DNA synthesis and purification platforms for both desalting and reverse phase purification processes, preparing and operating both synthesis and purification equipment along with associated liquid handling equipment, monitoring and replenishing reagents as required, preparing QC and quantification samples, performing all tasks to production schedules and associated work instructions and standards, recording run data on QMS paperwork and updating database and associated electronic forms to ISO 9001 standards.

The working hours of this role will be Sunday - Thursday 3pm-11pm

Who You Are:

  • Previous experience working in a similar environment (production/manufacturing) – preferred
  • Experience working/following SOP’s guidelines – preferred
  • Proficient in the use of computer-based systems
  • Ability to prioritise own workload
  • Have a proactive approach with excellent verbal and written communication skills
