£26,000 - £35,000 per annum

Our client is looking for people with an engineering mindset who are willing to learn specialist engineering processes and equipment which will allow them to support our client in one of their multiple departments. Your role will be to work as part of a team or individual to both develop and maintain current and future equipment. From conceptual design, detailing drawings, Create Bill of material and technical documentation. If required carry out drawing office admin & IT work.

Junior or Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer

Skills and Experience you will learn and develop

• To work as part of a team or individual to both develop and maintain current and future equipment.
• Conceptual design, detailing drawings, Create Bill of material and technical documentation.
• Mechanical CAD skills – 3D SolidWorks Essential
• 2D AutoCAD or similar is desirable.
• Good Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing Knowledge.
• HNC or degree level in mechanical engineering subjects or relevant work experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Good general PC skills including all MS Office packages.
• ERP or MRP system experience.
• Knowledge of Machinery Directive & Safety Standards desirable
• FEA experience beneficial.
