Salary: 32k basic + 36 OTE + company benefits
We are currently seeking a skilled MOT Tester to join our automotive dealer in Southend on Sea. As an MOT Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and roadworthiness of vehicles through conducting MOT tests in compliance with regulatory standards.
Duties:
- Perform MOT tests on vehicles according to DVSA guidelines
- Identify and report any vehicle defects or issues that may affect its safety
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to carry out inspections
- Conduct heavy lifting as needed during the testing process
- Maintain accurate records of test results and vehicle information
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an MOT Tester or in a similar automotive role
- Valid MOT Tester certification
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
Joining our clients team as an MOT Tester offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills and expertise will contribute to ensuring vehicle safety and compliance.
Hours for the MOT Tester position are Monday – Friday 8.00 – 5.00. 1 in 3 Saturdays 8.00 – 12.00.
